The 2019 Miss Kumari Puraskaram, an award instituted by the P. Bhaskaran Foundation and named after actress Miss Kumari to commemorate her illustrious career in early Malayalam film history, was presented to actress Parvathy Thiruvothu by renowned artist Namboothiri.
The award ceremony took place on 8th September at Kodungallur City Hall in the presence of dignitaries such as filmmakers Kamal, Anjali Menon and John Paul and the office bearers of the Miss Kumari Foundation, Dr. Cyriac Thomas, Johny Thaliath and George Kulangara.
